Why Partnerships Matter
Creating Greater Impact Together
Mental health challenges affect every part of our communities, and no single organisation can meet every need alone. At The Anthony Seddon Fund, we believe the greatest impact happens when people, services and organisations work together towards a shared goal.
Through partnerships, collaborative projects and community initiatives, we are able to reach more people, strengthen support pathways, share expertise and create opportunities that would not be possible in isolation.
Whether working with local charities, NHS services, schools, community groups, funders or people with lived experience, every partnership helps us build stronger, more connected communities where people feel supported, valued and heard.

Our Partners
Strategic Partnerships
Working Together To Strengthen Local Support
We work closely with local organisations, services and community partners to make support more joined-up, accessible and responsive to people’s needs.
Community Partners
We build relationships with local charities, community groups and voluntary organisations to help people find the right support in the right place.
Public Sector Partners
We work alongside statutory services, commissioners and local systems to support better access, shared learning and stronger pathways for people experiencing mental health difficulties.
Lived Experience-Led Support
Our partnerships are shaped by lived experience, helping ensure support remains compassionate, practical and grounded in what people and communities actually need.
Partnership working helps us reach more people, reduce barriers and make mental health support feel more connected, human and accessible.
Community Events
Bringing People Together Through Community Events
Throughout the year we organise and support a variety of community events designed to raise awareness, reduce stigma, celebrate recovery and create opportunities for people to connect with others.
Mental Health Festivals
Our wellbeing festivals bring together local organisations, community groups and residents to showcase support available across Tameside whilst promoting positive mental wellbeing.
Awareness Campaigns
We take part in local and national campaigns throughout the year, helping to raise awareness of mental health, suicide prevention and the importance of community support.

Funding & Development
Investing In Sustainable Community Support
Behind every support group, activity, event and project is the funding and development work that helps make it possible. We work with funders, businesses, trusts, foundations and community partners to create sustainable mental health support for the future.
Grant Funding
We work with charitable trusts, foundations and public sector funders to develop services that respond directly to local need and community priorities.
Service Development
Funding enables us to develop new projects, pilot innovative approaches and expand support based on the changing needs of the people and communities we serve.
Long-Term Impact
Our focus is not simply on delivering projects today, but on creating lasting improvements in wellbeing, resilience and community connection for years to come.
Every investment in The Anthony Seddon Fund helps strengthen community-based mental health support, ensuring people can access welcoming, lived experience-led support when they need it most.
