Since 2014, The Anthony Seddon Fund has brought people together through peer-led mental health support, wellbeing activities and community connection in Tameside. Shaped by lived experience, we offer a welcoming place where people can feel understood, build friendships and find hope.

About TASFund

Supporting Mental Health Through Community, Connection and Hope

The Anthony Seddon Fund is a mental health charity based in Ashton-under-Lyne, Tameside. Founded in 2014 in memory of Anthony Seddon, we provide a welcoming space where people experiencing mental health difficulties can find understanding, support and a sense of belonging.

Our work brings together peer support, wellbeing activities, bereavement groups and crisis alternatives. Shared lived experience helps shape the support we offer, alongside our values of dignity, compassion, empowerment and inclusivity.

Our staff, volunteers and trustees work with local people and partner organisations to keep that community growing. Whether someone joins a group, shares their experiences or simply comes in for a chat, we want them to feel listened to, valued and less alone.
