About Us
More Than a Charity.
A Community.
For more than a decade, The Anthony Seddon Fund has provided peer-led mental health support, wellbeing activities and opportunities for connection across Tameside. Built on lived experience, compassion and hope, we are here to help ensure nobody has to face mental health challenges alone.

ABOUT TASFUND
Supporting Mental Health Through Community, Connection And Hope
The Anthony Seddon Fund is a community-based mental health charity based in Ashton-under-Lyne, Tameside. Established in 2014 following the death of Anthony Seddon, the charity was founded with a simple but powerful aim; to ensure that people experiencing mental health challenges have somewhere safe, welcoming and understanding to turn.
Over the years, TASFund has grown into a trusted community hub providing peer support, wellbeing activities, support groups, crisis alternatives and opportunities for people to connect with others who understand their experiences. Everything we do is rooted in compassion, dignity, empowerment and lived experience.
Today, our staff, volunteers and trustees work alongside local communities and partner organisations to support thousands of visits every year. While the charity has evolved significantly since its beginnings, our purpose remains unchanged; helping people feel heard, valued and less alone.

More than a mental health charity; TASFund is a community where people can find support, build connections and discover hope for the future.
