Our volunteers are vital to how we operate, providing a fantastic peer support service in Tameside. The majority of our volunteers have lived experience of mental health issues, using their experiences to help others - we couldn't do this without them!
You can volunteer from as little as 4 hours a week in a variety of roles, such as our Mental Health Drop In volunteers or Reception volunteers. There are other ways you may get involved, such as helping with our one-off events, collecting donation of goods or helping with promotion.
Donations of pre-loved items are greatly received - please drop them of at The Anthony Seddon Shop. Unfortunately we can not accept any large furniture due to the size of the Shop.
Monetary donations can be made through JustGiving, in person at The Anthony Seddon Centre, or a regular donation can be arranged if you contact us. Please make any cheques payable to "The Anthony Seddon Fund".
Want to raise money for The Anthony Seddon Fund? Firstly, thank you! We appreciate your continued support. Your money will help us to continue providing a safe space for people with mental health issues in Tameside.
Whether you want to run a marathon, shave your head or sit in a bath of bean, you can set up a fundraising page on JustGiving.
Make sure you contact us beforehand as we would love to promote your fundraising efforts on our website and social media. We love seeing photos from fundraising efforts and want to show off all your hard work to all our supporters.
Do a lot of your shopping on Amazon? Well now you can shop to your heart's content AND help support mental health projects in Tameside at the same time!
