About Us
Meet the Team
Behind every conversation, activity and support session is a dedicated team of staff and volunteers who are passionate about supporting mental wellbeing in our community. Together, we work to create welcoming spaces where people feel valued, connected and supported.

Our People
The People Behind The Anthony Seddon Fund
The Anthony Seddon Fund is powered by a dedicated team of staff, volunteers and trustees who share a passion for supporting mental wellbeing within our community. Together, we create welcoming spaces where people can connect, access support and build positive relationships.
A Team Built on Lived Experience
Lived experience is at the heart of The Anthony Seddon Fund. Many of our staff, volunteers and trustees bring personal experience of mental health challenges, recovery, caring responsibilities or bereavement, helping to shape the support we provide.
We believe that combining professional skills, personal experience and genuine compassion helps us create a supportive, understanding and community-focused organisation where people feel able to belong and thrive.
Our staff, volunteers and trustees work together to create a community where people feel welcomed, supported and valued.

Harry
Chief Executive Officer
Following the death of my brother, Anthony, to suicide, I became involved with The Anthony Seddon Fund during its early years. Over time, I was fortunate to progress through several roles within the charity before becoming Chief Executive Officer.
Today, I work alongside our staff, volunteers, trustees and partners to help ensure TASFund continues to provide welcoming, community-based mental health support while remaining sustainable for the future. I’m passionate about strengthening peer support, developing new opportunities and making sure lived experience remains at the heart of everything we do.
My connection to mental health is deeply personal. Having experienced my own mental health difficulties and been bereaved by suicide, I know how important it is for people to have somewhere they feel welcomed, listened to and supported. That’s why I’m proud to be part of an organisation that helps hundreds of people each year feel that they are not alone.

Domestic Assistant
I have worked as a Cleaner at The Anthony Seddon Fund for over six years. Before that, I volunteered with the charity and attended the Centre as a customer. I love working here because TASFund supports the rights of people experiencing mental health difficulties, provides so many groups and activities, and works closely with the local community. It is also the one place where I have never felt judged or discriminated against because of my mental health, and that means a great deal to me.

Rebecca
Reception Team
I was introduced to The Anthony Seddon Fund after being discharged from hospital in 2021. I started as a customer, then became a volunteer before progressing into a paid role as a Receptionist, and I haven’t looked back since. TASFund truly feels like a family, and I’ve been able to use my own experience of mental health difficulties to help support other people

Our Volunteers
The Heart of Our Charity
Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. They help create welcoming spaces, support activities, share lived experience, build connections and contribute thousands of hours each year to supporting mental wellbeing within our community.

Making a Difference Together
Our volunteers support every area of The Anthony Seddon Fund. From welcoming visitors and supporting groups to helping with fundraising, events, administration and peer support, their contribution helps make our work possible.
Many of our volunteers bring valuable lived experience, helping us remain community-led and rooted in understanding, empathy and hope.
Whether someone volunteers a few hours each month or supports us regularly throughout the week, every contribution helps strengthen our community and improve the lives of the people we support.
Our volunteers are not just part of TASFund, they are a vital part of who we are and the difference we make every day.
