Welcome to our Centre Activities page. Here you will find details of what sessions we offer within The Anthony Seddon Centre.
We have strict Covid guidelines in place and adhere to social distancing rules within the centre.
Masks must be worn in the centre unless you are exempt on medical grounds.
If you cannot adhere to the rules or are abusive towards volunteers or staff you will be asked to leave.

**Our sessions are only open to those aged 18 years and above exc. The Talk Shop.
**Some sessions may incur a small charge, this is to enable the continuation of these sessions.

Peer Support Group
Our Peer Support groups are voluntary led and are safe place to talk and get support. These are relaxed groups and the conversations flow naturally. These groups are suitable for those who need support with mental health issues.
Fridays Session is Food Friday, where you can enjoy some food whilst you chat.
Knit & Natter
Our Knit & Natter group is a volunteer led peer support activity where the group meet once a week to chat whilst they work on their own knitting.
Our Mens Group is a volunteer led peer support group.
**Please note: This group is more structured than our other peer support groups and some of the topics may be triggering.
We have two Bereavement Groups per month, once a month on a Tuesday evening and once a month on a Thursday morning. These are open to those affected by a bereavement.
Suicide Bereavement Group
This bereavement group is suitable for those who are bereaved through suicide.
Friends & Family Group
We have two Friends & Family Groups per month, once a month on a Tuesday evening and once a month on a Thursday morning. These are open to those who care for someone suffering with mental health issues.
Our Ladies Group is a volunteer led peer support group where ladies get together, chat, have a brew and take part in social activities.
**Please Note: Presently the social activities are not taking place due to Covid restrictions.
Hearing Voices Group
Our Hearing Voices group is a volunteeer led peer support group open to those who are affected by hearing voices.
